昨日のブログの続きです。 This is the continuation of yesterday’s blog entry.

ザイオンロッジを後にして渓谷の奥、ナローズへ向かいました。 We went to the Narrows after stopping at the Zion lodge.

ひたすら楽しく写真を撮りまくりました。We simply enjoyed walking around and taking pictures there.

雪が止み、時折の青空は嬉しいことです。 The snow stopped at one point, and occasional blue patches of sky made us happier.

なぜなら、夕陽のショットを期待していたからです。 This was because we hoped to take some sunset pictures with good light.

サイドミラーに映る夕陽をあびた岩壁。 I found an image on the side mirror showing a rock with sunset light!

慌てて車を止めて岩壁を仰ぐと、光っていました。これは大変。 We stopped the car, and looked up towards the rocks. They were gorgeously shining.

日没が迫っていました。急いでバージンリバーへと降りて行きました。 It was already so close to sunset time. We went down to the Virgin river quickly.

夕陽を浴びたウォッチマンを撮りたかったんですが、間に合いませんでした。 I wanted to take pictures of Watchman getting light, but it was too late.

ほんのりと微かに光っているだけでした。 Only thin slivers of light were there.

その代わり、イーストテンプルと近くの山々が美しかった。 Instead, we got beautiful light on East Temple and the nearby neighbor peaks.

神々しく光るイーストテンプルは撮りたかった写真の一枚でした。 The East temple getting sunset light was so divine. It was one of the pictures I always wanted to take.

ありがとうザイオン！今日も一日素晴らしい日となりました。 Thank you Zion! It was such a wonderful day again because of you!
