今年の1月20日に生まれてから、もう7か月以上経ちました。 It’s already been more than 7 months since she was born on January 20th this year.

お父さんのフィネックスはは100％プードル、母さんのポピーはF1Bのゴールデンドゥードル（75％のプードルと25％のゴールデンリトリーバー）です。だからメイプルはF1BBのゴールデンドゥードルと言われます。（プードルの血が85％で15％がゴールデンリトリーバー） Her father Phoenix is 100% Poodle, and her mother Poppy is an F1B Golden Doodle (75% Poodle and 25% Golden Retriever). That’s why Maple is described as an F1BB Golden Doodle (85% Poodle and 15% Golden Retriever).

以下、メイプルの写真です。誕生後、1月22日、1月29日、2月14日、そして家に来た日、3月16日の写真です。兄弟が恋しくて遠吠えを繰り返していました。 Below are some photos of Maple. They were taken on January 22, January 29 and February 14 after she was born, and on March 16, the day she came home. Maple kept howling, probably missing her siblings.

今ではすっかり家族の一員として落ち着いています。　She has now settled in perfectly as a member of the family.

長い間、犬の育休をしてきましたが、一通りの予防注射と避妊手術も終わったので、またゆるくブログの再開です。　I’ve been taking a long break to look after my dog, but now that she’s had all her vaccinations and has been spayed, it’s time to slowly get back to blogging.

これから書くブログのテーマは”地上10インチの世界”が主流になると思います。　The theme of these future blog posts is ‘A World 10 Inches Above the Ground’.

この半年間、犬を飼う経験がなかった私たちにとっては、てんやわんや、大慌ての毎日でした。それでもメイプルを通して見えてきたものは新鮮でした。ちっぽけな事ばかりですが、見ている高さでこんなに世界は違うんだと感動しています。だから、このブログの中心はそんな世界についてになります。　Having no previous experience of owning a dog, the past six months have been a whirlwind of chaos and frantic activity for us. That said, the insights we’ve gained through Maple have been a breath of fresh air. They may seem like trivial matters, but I’m truly moved by how different the world looks from her perspective. That’s why this blog will focus on that very world.
