友人の猫のために、こんな箱を作ってみました。 I made a small box for my friend’s cat.

蓋が後ろに倒れるようになっています。 The lid folds back.

しっかり蓋が閉まるように蓋を重くし過ぎてしまったためか、箱との繋ぎの部分が弱くなってしまいました。そのため、苦肉の策でリボンを付けて補強しました。 I made the lid rather heavy so that it can close well on top of the box. But because of that, the hinge became weak. Ugh! I added a ribbon around the box to reinforce the connection area.

リボンの位置が高過ぎますが、蓋の補強なので仕方がありません。プレゼントを入れるとこんな感じ。It doesn’t look so bad although I feel the position of the ribbon is too high. It looks pretty good with my present in it.

友人の猫へのプレゼント。捨ててしまおうと思ったポンポンが入るピンクの箱は、思い描いた通り可愛い作品になりました。さて、ポンポンで遊んでくれるかな。It’s a pompom that I almost got rid of. The cute pink box is a perfect container for it. I hope he will play with it.
