昨夜、私が出場するハンツマン シニア世界競技大会のオープニングセレモニーに行って来ました。 Last night I went to the opening ceremony for the Huntsman Senior World Games, in which I am competing.

100歳のこの女性は去年まで毎年水泳で出場していましたが、今年は出られません。なぜなら、ガン治療を始めたらです。でも、来年はまた戻ってくるよというメッセージでした。 This 100 year old woman used to compete in swimming every year until last year, but this year she will not be able to. Because she started cancer treatment. But the message was that she will be back next year.

その後、2時間ぐらいのショーがあり、世界の旗を着た若者達が入って来た時には感動しました。 Then there was a show that lasted about two hours, and I was impressed when the young people came in wearing flags from around the world.

怪我をして練習の時間がなくなってしまったので元気ないです。でも、諦めない。自分の中の小さな声に負けない。 I’m not doing so well in my practice because I’m injured and have lost time. But I won’t give up. I will not be defeated by the little voice inside me.

あと5日間となりました。体調を調整する時です。もっと早く走りたいけど、もう気にしません。レース当日まで筋トレと休養をしっかりこなしていきます。 It’s only five days away. And it is time to adjust my physical condition. I would like to run faster, but I don’t care anymore. I will do a good job of muscle training and rest until race day.
