税金申告の日（4月15日）は決して忘れられる事なく、今年もやってきます。去年の収支の結果がすでに出ているので、私達は3日かけてお金の整理を終えました。毎年のことがなら、苦しい作業ですが終わってみるととても清々しいです。　Tax filing day (April 15) is never forgotten and it will be here again this year. With the results of last year’s income and expenses already in hand, we spent three days finishing sorting through our expenses. It’s a painful task and I can never get used to it, but it is a big relief when it is over.

税理士によると、去年の追加の税金支払い額は予想に反して低い数値でした。　According to our tax accountant, last year’s tax bill was unexpectedly low.

去年は予想を遥かに上回る出費が続き、心配していました。でも、具体的な数字がわかったので、対処の仕方もわかってきました。そして心の平安が戻ってきました。　お金の整理は、家や心の整理と同じように大切ですね。I was concerned last year because our expenses were much higher than we had anticipated.
