パイ生地で包んだカマンベール Camembert En Croute


友人宅のクリスマスディナー用に用意しました。たまらなく美味しくできた前菜、パイ生地で包んだカマンベールです。 This is Camembert en Croute I baked for a Christmas gathering at our friend’s house. It was irresistibly delicious.

オーブンの温度がなかなか上がらなくて、でも時間はどんどん無くなって焦りまくり。だから友人の家の最新オーブンで30分焼いたカマンベールです。 I was quite frustrated though, because my kitchen oven didn’t go up high enough quickly, yet my time was also running out quickly. So, this was baked in our friend’s new oven.

丸ごとカマンベールを二つ。それを4等分にして、その間にドライフルーツ、ナッツ、それにローズマリーを入れてパイ生地でラップして出来上がり。 The preparation was quite simple. I used two chunks of Camembert cheese, cut both chunks in half horizontally. Then I sandwiched chopped dried apricots, cherries, nuts, and rosemary leaves. After that, I wrapped it up with pie dough. That’s it.

8人分の予定でしたが、4人でペロリと食べてしまいました。 It’s supposed to serve 8 people, but the four of us finished it so quick.

中に何を入れても美味しくできそう。パイ生地を作るのが面倒なだけで、あとは簡単。絶対また作ります。およばれパーティーに持って行く「定番の一皿」にしてもいいかも。 It seems that anything can go with Camembert. As long as you have a pie dough ready, the rest is simple. I will bake it again for sure. I may bring this dish from now on to any party that I may be invited to.
