Marmot

- A Yellow-bellied marmot.  This is my second time witnessing, but the first time capturing this animal in my camera.  It came out from a cliff at Cedar Breaks National Monument while we were hiking on a trail. - Unfortunately, the quality is not good because I didn’t have a telephoto lens.  Even so, I think you can still understand the general features.

- Yellow-bellied marmots live at higher altitude places like Cedar Breaks, 10,000 feet, and spend 80% of their lives in their burrows.  I am glad we met him during the 20% of the time he was out.
